You are welcome to make an appointment to visit our Centre before making any decisions. An assigned teacher will show parents and caregivers around the Centre. Questions are encouraged, and the assigned teacher will be happy to answer any queries you may have. Parents interested in enrolling their child at the Centre are advised to place their child on the waitlist.
We will endeavour to contact you one month before we can offer your child a place, to help you with your planning. If your child’s place is confirmed at this time, you will be required to come IN and fill out the Enrolment Form and other documents.
Any request for changes after confirmation must be made at least one month in advance. Any CHANGES made to the start date after confirmation is subject to availability at the Centre.
Bright Star is closed for statutory holidays. Over the Christmas–New Year period, we are closed for five working days, additional to statutory holidays, to provide a break for our teachers and children. Fees are charged for the 51 weeks of the year that the Centre is open, regardless of children’s sickness absences, statutory holidays and family vacations.
Fees are to be paid by automatic payment two weeks in advance. Casual booking CAN be paid by cash early in the morning.
Families with more than one child attending the Centre will receive a 5% discount per child.
We accept WINZ subsidies. However, parents or guardians are responsible for fees until the subsidy starts and for any outstanding amounts.
If you wish to terminate your child’s place at the Centre, we require one month’s advance notice. This includes children about to start primary school.
